We are arguably the friendliest R/C club in Tucson. With a relaxed atmosphere and an eye on safety we fly mostly in the mornings. In the summer months we typically fly from 6:30 am to 10:00 am. Winter months typically see flight times of 8:00 AM till noon. These are approximate and several of our members are retired allowing them to fly every day of the week. Our PAVED runway is over 420 feet long by 65 feet wide allowing easy takeoffs and landings. Our member interest is very diversified; some members fly large scale, some fly small scale, some fly combat, others fly helicopters. Many members enjoy scratch-building and designing their own planes - results are interesting. Our club is AMA chartered and you can come fly with us as a guest with your current AMA card.
